Meet Justin Smith from Neosho City, MO.
This somber looking individual is National Heavy Equipment Operator School’s latest featured graduate. Do not mistake this somber appearance for unhappiness. Mr. Justin Smith looks this way because he’s serious about his career. Justin and his wife were recently blessed with their first child.
Justin Smith knew all too well that assembling Lazyboy recliners was something he could not continue to do to support his new family. Justin had been around heavy equipment all his life. He felt that was a career he could stick with. Being that he had never been properly trained, he looked to us for help. “I chose National because it appeared to be the best school. The home study lessons really worked well for me.”
While with us, Justin learned quite a bit about the equipment. “I would not be worried about getting on any type of equipment now. I have the basics and can learn the rest with experience.”
His instructors thought highly of him as well. He earned a rock solid 99.4% GPA. A tremendous effort considering the grading criteria we have. His Instructor says “Mr. Smith worked on all the equipment really hard. He was especially good with the bulldozer. Justin was astute in the classroom too. When he was shown how something was to be done, he did it exactly that way.”
Justin’s future plans include owning his own business someday soon. We are confident he will. Just look at the determination on his face!
