Serving students and employers through career-focused education since 1978

National Training, Inc. is a Florida-licensed postsecondary career school providing career-focused education in commercial truck driving and heavy equipment operation.

Our mission is practical: to provide students with structured education, hands-on training, appropriate academic and skills assessment, and career preparation designed around the requirements of the industries we serve.

National Training believes students, families, employers, government agencies, veterans, workforce partners, and the public should be able to understand what a school teaches, what it costs, what is required to enroll and graduate, and what results students can reasonably expect.

In response to the national call for greater transparency, academic rigor, accountability, affordability, and service to America’s workforce, National Training affirms the following institutional commitments.

1

Transparent and Fair Admissions

National Training is committed to an admissions process that is understandable, consistently administered, and based upon published program requirements.

Admission decisions are based on the requirements and prerequisites applicable to the program for which an applicant is seeking enrollment. We do not use unlawful preferences or discrimination in making admissions decisions.

Prospective students should be able to determine before enrolling:

✓Admission requirements for their program ✓Required prerequisites
✓Program length and clock hours ✓Tuition and mandatory fees
✓Training and graduation requirements ✓Applicable licensing or testing requirements
✓Cancellation and refund policies ✓Available student services

These requirements are published through National Training’s catalogs, enrollment materials, policies, and website.

Our goal is informed enrollment—not simply enrollment.

2

Open Inquiry, Respectful Communication, and an Orderly Learning Environment

National Training supports respectful discussion, questions, differing viewpoints, and the ability of students to seek information from instructors and school leadership.

Students should be able to ask legitimate questions about their education, school policies, training methods, regulations, employment expectations, or other matters affecting their education without fear of retaliation.

At the same time, students, employees, and visitors are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that permits training to continue safely and without unreasonable disruption.

Harassment, threats, violence, intimidation, deliberate interference with training, and conduct that prevents students or instructors from participating in scheduled educational activities are inconsistent with our educational mission.

This is particularly important in CDL and heavy equipment education, where safety, attention, communication, and orderly operations are essential components of the training environment.

3

Intellectual Independence and Career-Focused Instruction

National Training is primarily a career and workforce education institution.

Our curriculum is therefore built around applicable laws and regulations, approved program objectives, safety requirements, technical knowledge, practical skills, employer expectations, and accepted industry practices.

Instruction should be based on the material students need to understand and the skills they are expected to demonstrate—not on political or ideological conformity.

We expect instructors to teach professionally, evaluate students fairly, welcome appropriate questions, and distinguish factual or regulatory requirements from personal opinion.

Hiring and evaluation decisions should support instructional competence, professional conduct, safety, student learning, and the educational mission of the institution.

4

Affordability, Pricing Transparency, and Student Value

Education represents a significant financial commitment.

National Training is committed to providing prospective students with clear information about tuition, required school fees, and known program-related costs before enrollment.

Students are encouraged to review the applicable school catalog, enrollment agreement, tuition information, funding requirements, and refund policies before making a financial commitment.

Where financing, veterans education benefits, workforce funding, vocational rehabilitation, employer sponsorship, agency assistance, or other funding alternatives may be available, eligibility and approval must be determined under the applicable program requirements.

National Training does not believe responsible career education should depend upon unrealistic promises concerning future income. Employment, wages, employer acceptance, licensing, certification, and other career outcomes can depend on factors beyond the school’s control and should never be represented as guaranteed.

Our responsibility is to provide the education and services described to the student and to communicate career information accurately.

5

Measurable Student Outcomes and Workforce Preparation

Career education should ultimately be measured by more than enrollment. National Training evaluates its programs through measures that may include:

✓Attendance ✓Satisfactory academic progress
✓Skills development ✓Completion and graduation
✓Required assessments ✓Licensing or testing outcomes when applicable
✓Graduate employment information ✓Student feedback
✓Other reporting required by applicable agencies

We will continue to make required institutional and student-outcome information available to students, regulators, and the public.

Our educational objective is to help reasonably diligent students develop the entry-level knowledge and practical skills associated with the transportation, construction, and heavy-equipment industries.

6

Academic Rigor and Honest Assessment in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial intelligence is changing education, business, transportation, construction, recruiting, and the workplace.

National Training supports the responsible use of technology when it improves student support, accessibility, communication, administration, or instruction.

Technology, however, cannot substitute for a student’s responsibility to learn and demonstrate required knowledge and skills. A student must personally satisfy applicable attendance, academic, skills, performance, testing, and graduation requirements.

Where practical skills are required, those skills must be demonstrated by the student. Where knowledge must be assessed, evaluations must provide a meaningful measure of student understanding.

National Training will not lower academic or practical training standards simply to increase completion rates. Artificial intelligence or other technology should not be used to misrepresent student work, circumvent assessments, falsify records, or substitute for required individual performance.

Our instructors and academic personnel remain responsible for evaluating student progress under applicable institutional and program requirements.

7

Research Integrity and External Influence

National Training is a teaching and workforce-focused career institution rather than a research-intensive university.

Accordingly, many issues involving federally funded university research and foreign research influence are not central to our institutional mission.

Nevertheless, National Training is committed to complying with applicable state and federal requirements governing its educational programs, institutional operations, student records, funding relationships, technology, vendors, and external partnerships.

Decisions affecting curriculum, academic standards, student evaluation, and institutional operations should remain consistent with National Training’s educational mission and applicable American laws and regulatory requirements.

8

Serving Florida and America’s Workforce

National Training’s educational mission is closely connected to workforce needs.

Commercial transportation, construction, infrastructure, utilities, land development, logistics, and heavy equipment operations depend upon workers who understand safety, equipment, regulatory requirements, and professional responsibility.

Our programs are designed to prepare students for entry-level opportunities in these industries and to respond to the workforce needs of Florida and the United States.

We are also committed to serving eligible veterans, transitioning service members, workforce participants, vocational rehabilitation participants, employer-sponsored students, and other qualified students through programs and funding pathways available to them.

Serving America’s interests does not require abandoning equal treatment. National Training will continue to administer its programs consistently with applicable law while keeping workforce readiness, public safety, economic opportunity, and responsible career preparation at the center of its educational mission.

Our Continuing Commitment

Public confidence in career education must be earned. National Training believes that means being clear about:

what we teach, what students must accomplish, what training costs, what credentials students may earn, what we can reasonably promise, and what we cannot promise.

We will continue reviewing our programs, policies, publications, technology, admissions practices, student outcomes, and career services to maintain academic integrity, regulatory compliance, transparency, and relevance to the industries we serve.
